Celebrating Francis AJEBE SONE; A 2016 GAICAM FellowFellowship Team
Meet AJEBE Francis SONE, one of the pioneer fellows of the GAICAM International Leadership and Entrepreneurial Fellowship (GAILEF) for the 2016 batch.
He is a professional banker and a customer service specialist with a four years’ working experience. He holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Buea. After graduation from the University, AJEBE applied to volunteer with GAICAM in early 2018 and it was approved. His dedication and selflessness prompted his appointment to the position of the Director of Finance and Administration. Despite his devotion to his job, AJEBE was still very passionate about his banking career. In consideration to his devotion to the activities of the organization, the Executive Director introduced him to GAICAM partners (NFC & Ecobank) during the GAICAM women Empowerment Conference 2018, which saw his admission into the banking field which he has always dreamed of. Few months later, Ajebe came back with a bottle of Whisky to show appreciation, promising to always be grateful to GAICAM.
In early 2019, Ajebe was appointed a Corporate Administrative Adviser at GAICAM International, in charge of advising young recruits, and till date, he remains devoted to GAICAM activities.
AJEBE currently works with the National Financial Credit (NFC Bank), where he supervises and coordinate the work of other customer service team members, and have successfully led many outdoor campaign for the bank, resulting to more customer acquisition and satisfaction. Before then, he had worked with Ecobank Cameroon as a general administrative staff, significantly contributing to customer satisfaction, leading to greater results.
AJEBE is a proud alumni of GAICAM, and we remain proud of him. He is one of the pioneer Cameroonians who participated in the first edition of the GAICAM International Leadership and Entrepreneurial Fellowship of 2016. His selfless sacrifices and hard work while serving GAICAM, greatly contributed to our course. Congratulations Francis, continue to shine the light, we are proud of you. We look forward to seeing you become a top banker in Cameroon and Africa.
