The Project Director of Go-Africa Initiative Cameroon (GAICAM) hereby informs the general public that the following undermentioned persons who applied for the 3rd Edition of GAICAM Annual Leadership and Entrepreneurial Fellowship scheduled to take place from July 9th – July 21st, 2018 in Buea have been granted a provisional admission to take part in the GAICAM Annual Leadership and Entrepreneurial fellowship 2018.
The impact and success stories of the past two editions of the fellowship has caused a heavy flow of application for this year’s session, with 219 applications received from dynamic young Cameroonians who are all passionate about their aspiration and wish to build their capacities for a better future. The applications received were dully processed, using the laid down criteria for selection for the 2018 GAICAM Annual Leadership and Entrepreneurial Fellowship.
The following eligibilities were used to accept the applicant’s application form.
- Aged between 18 – 35years
- Young and aspiring Entrepreneurs, Leaders, and Professionals.
- Resident in Cameroon, or willing to live in Cameroon for the time being of the fellowship.
- Willing and able to commit to the fellowship training.
- Ready to work collectively and cooperatively with others from diverse backgrounds without affecting teamwork.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Participant selection criteria:
The following selection criteria were used to shortlist the participants for the first stage of admission process;
- Patriotic and civic engagement;
- Leadership & Entrepreneurial potentials;
- Possess a strong communication skills
- Knowledge in internet and navigation on social media
- Participants with good projects seeking sponsorship

After reviewing the 219 applications following the laid down selection criteria, the undermentioned 50 persons have been admitted to take part in this year’s Fellowship. the selection and publication of the next 50 applicants will be done in the next 12 days.

The above mentioned persons are reminded to confirm and secure their participation for the fellowship with the payment of 10.000CFA as participation fee on or before June 20th, 2018 at close of business. The participatory fee is 10% fee of the fellowship total cost, while 90% of the cost is a scholarship from our valued partners, who have subsidized the cost.

The payment of the participation fee of 10,000 CFA shall include the charges on withdrawal of 500 CFA a total transaction of 10,500 CFA per fellow. Once the payment is done either through the MTN Mobile Money or through ORANGE Money, the Fellow shall text the reference or transaction number and his or name to number used for the payment of participation fee for confirmation.

Those who failed to meet up with the payment of the participation fee after June 20th, 2018, their names shall be replaced immediately with those on the waiting list.
OTHER IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
As part of the fellowship extra-curricular activities, ALL Fellows are expected to be in possession of the following items:
- Professional/Cooperate wear
- Sportswear (white)
- Cultural wear
Moreover, during the training period, Fellows are strongly advised to appear in formal attire/wear; no Fellows shall be allowed at the training center with casual or indecent attire/wear.
Furthermore, once the payment of the participation fee has been paid, Fellows are immediately expected to send a good portrait soft copy of their picture dressed in a professional/cooperate attire/wear through the e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, Fellows who are coming from other towns like; Douala, Yaoundé, Bamenda, Ebolowa, Garoua etc that lack lodging facility in Buea they will be camped. There shall be two camps; one for the men and another for the women.
