The Launching of the 3rd Edition of the GAICAM Annual Leadership and Entrepreneurial Fellowship took place today the 26 of April 20018 at the GAICAM Head Office, Chief Street Entrance Bomaka Chaired by the Project Director, Mr. SINJOH Armstrong. Invitees included Chief Executive Officers, Managers, Volunteers, Potential Applicants and Representatives from Public and Private Organizations.
The Launching Proper began at 10:30am, with a word of Prayer followed by the Launching Presentations from the Project Director. The Presentations elucidated the core about the Leadership and Entrepreneurial Fellowship with the following featuring: a brief about GAICAM, Mission, Vision, Objectives of Fellowship, Impacts/Expected Outcomes, Period of Fellowship, Featured Partners/Sponsors over the past Fellowships as well as a vivid explanation of the prospective Evaluation Techniques of the Success and Achievements of the fellowship to the Potential Partners/Sponsors, the Fellows and the Nation at large. In addition, the registration Modalities tutorial was demonstrated Live for Potential Applicants to actually see to ease their Registrations.
Questions from Invitees were welcomed thereafter. The Questions were entertained with satisfactory responses following clarifications and Live demonstrations. This phase slipped to listen to the brilliant word of appreciation while throwing more lights to the Fellowship, from the Executive Director of GAICAM, Mr.Taminang Search. In brief, He did thanked everyone present, reiterated on the Previous Fellowship Impacts in the Lives of Many young Cameroonians. While He cited a few amongst others, he ended by expressing his willingness to extend a hand of Fellowship to all potential Partners/Sponsors of the Fellowship as he called on the Chief Executive Officer of YAPCEC ( Youths Advocate for Peace and Community Empowerment Cameroon)-National Youth Delegate to the Common Wealth Mr Bidum Samuel. He appreciated the Initiative and called on Youths to register massively while assuring His subsequent support in the days ahead.
Another appraisal came from the representative of the Multi-Purpose Youth Empowerment Center, Buea, who on behalf of the Centre, reassured GAICAM of their full involvement in collaboration, especially in the areas of mobilization.
The launching ended a few minutes after noon with snacks to all invitees, followed by family photo shooting.
