I am honoured to make public the launch of the GAICAM POLICY CENTRE, an outcome-focused organ of GAICAM and TENSO that is created to support the missions, strategic objectives and program activities of both organizations. This is a reflection of GAICAM and TENSO’s commitment to utilizing their staff as program planners, implementers, long-term thinkers, as well as lenders of knowledge and expertise to the organizations.
The launch of the GAICAM POLICY CENTRE represents yet another milestone in the development of the political and policy arena in Cameroon and on the international scene, as the Centre will provide public policy research, analysis and advice to various key stakeholders in the policy formation process.
In order to achieve its mission, the Centre will function under the following offices put in place.
- The Director – Ngwa Shu Princewill
- The Secretary General – Bombey Barbara Fahnwi
- The Head of Department for Internal Policy and Cooperation – Apum Etih Muriel
- The Head of Department for National & International Policy Issues – Abang Malvice Ayak
The above officers will coordinate the activities of the centre; researching and making public informative articles, policy briefs and monographs.
